Inspired by the artists of the Prague Opera who used to meet up for dinner after the show, Teatro offers a unique concept in Brussels.
Many of these artists had very little money, so it was by singing and entertaining for the evening that they paid for their meals. The Slavic atmosphere helping, evenings often ended with standing on the tables, songs being performed by the public along with the artists and their musicians. This Czech concept is now used by Teatro in Boitsfort where Music Hall, Cabaret and Opera are on the menu in this new modern, yet cosy and elegant space.
Music Hall – Cabaret
A magician passes from table to table to entertain you before performing an astonishing show on the stage, a shadow artist takes you to his universe, an aerial acrobat soars over the tables while an impromptu pianist accompanies some new talents on the stage or you take part in a musical quiz; a great atmosphere is guaranteed!
Opera – Operettas
Here, there is no distance between the show and the spectator! The sopranos, mezzo sopranos and other tenors or baritones perform as they move among the tables and on the stage, accompanied by a classical pianist. A unique opportunity to listen to the most beautiful lyrical melodies, sometimes a great classic, sometimes an original discovery: the music of Mozart, Bizet, Verdi and many others will make this evening magical for you.
At Teatro, all the senses are awakened… A sound and visual performance and a tasting experience thanks to the inventive gourmet cuisine from the head chef using high-quality products. He works with a subtle combination of spicy flavours from France and Italy and the dishes offered all have a touch of originality which you will love.
The Dinner show
The principle is simple: a refined menu offering choices of starters, mains and desserts and, while during the meal the artists are discreet and let you speak quietly to your friends, the show comes to you between each course as the artists move among the tables and on the nearby stage to entertain and surprise you in a magical atmosphere.
After 11pm, entry is granted to members and friends not having attended the dinner who can come and enjoy the end of the evening at the bar or on the dance floor.
A 3-course (choices) dinner show costs €75 (Music Hall-Cabaret / Opera-Operetta), excluding à la carte drinks or an unlimited water and wine package for €15 per person.
